Skin Care in Allergies

Avoiding triggers

Many people are allergic to a multitude of chemicals and substances in the modern environment. The most common ones are:

  • Metals - especially nickel, e.g. in jewellery, jeans buttons or belt buckles
  • Rubber and latex - often in protective gloves
  • Leather - the allergy is often to the chemicals used to treat it
  • Detergents - often left on clothes after washing
  • Certain ingredients in skin preparations (see: allergen hitlist)

The best way to deal with skin allergies: Together with your dermatologist, find out what you are allergic to and avoid it.

Dardia® provides reliable skin tolerance due to its minimal numbers of highly purified ingredients.

Contact dermatitis

Skin reactions caused by certain substances are called ‘contact dermatitis’. They should be diagnosed and treated by your dermatologist. If you have already suffered from contact dermatitis, you should avoid putting many different substances on your skin. Do not use skin care products that contain many different ingredients.
